Letterkenny, a Canadian sitcom, was created by Jared Keeso. It was mainly written and developed by Keeso and Jacob Tierney and directed by Tierney. Keeso, Nathan Dales and Michelle Mylett star in the show. K. Trevor Wilson is also a part of it. It began as a YouTube series called Letterkenny Problems. Crave made the show a TV series in March 2015. It premiered on February 2016.

The show is about Letterkenny, an Ontario town made up of people from Keeso’s hometown Listowel. The 2017 episode’s prologue, “St. Perfect’s Day” begins with the prologue to the 2017 episode “St.

Letterkenny is now available on Hulu US. The first two seasons began on July 13, 2018. The next season was added on December 27, 2018. Hulu purchased the rights to the show in May 2019 and all future seasons in the US. Hulu and Crave will have the eleventh season available starting December 25, 2022.

The show won the Best Comedy Series award at the 5th Canadian Screen Awards in 2017.

Letterkenny tells the story of Letterkenny in Canada. Most episodes begin with this text: Letterkenny has approximately 5000 inhabitants. This is what’s wrong. The show is about Wayne, Katy and their siblings. Wayne’s friends Daryl, and Squirrely Dan assist them in running a small farm and produce stand.

Each episode features different kinds of people from small towns: farmers (called “hicks”) and people from out-of-town who play on the local hockey team. The town’s closeted minister is also featured. Also, skids, drug addicts (“skids”) as well as people from nearby First Nation reserves (“natives”), Mennonites and Quebecois are all shown. Many episodes feature Wayne fighting for his reputation as the “toughest guy in Letterkenny”, the exploits and plans of the local hockey team (“natives”), Wayne’s relationship with his high school sweetheart (who cheated) and Wayne’s love life.

One of the jokes about the show is that nearly every character can think fast, have a steady stream of puns and wordplay, and have sophisticated views of worldly issues. This is contrary to the common stereotype that small-town residents are less intelligent than those who live in larger cities.
